Building Teamwork
To understand Russell Conrad’s perspective on encouraging unity and teamwork, we asked, “What measures do you believe employees and organizations can take to build effective teamwork and foster unity within the workplace?”
Emphasizing fostering unity, Russell replied, “With the trend of working from home increasing, it has advantages and disadvantages. Nowadays, many companies offer hybrid or full-on work from home without needing to come to the office. AIQ believes that striking a balance between the advantages and disadvantages is crucial for building effective teamwork and fostering unity within the workplace. Here are measures that both employees and organizations can take, with AIQ’s approach as an example.
Embrace hybrid work models that allow flexibility for employees to work both from home and the office. This will enable individuals to choose an environment that suits their productivity levels while maintaining a connection to the physical workspace.”
Russell Conrad added, “While remote work is convenient, AIQ recognizes the importance of physical presence in the office. Actively encourage employees to come into the office, fostering face-to-face interactions. This practice helps build a sense of “teamwork” and collaboration, contributing to a more unified company culture. Also, remember to acknowledge and appreciate individual and team achievements regularly, which fosters a positive work culture and motivates employees to contribute actively to the team’s success.
Our approach illustrates how a balance between remote work and office presence can contribute to a cohesive and collaborative workplace.”
