SINGAPORE: On Saturday, November 30, a 66-year-old man was charged with the murder of a 67-year-old woman who was discovered dead at an apartment in Ang Mo Kio the previous day.
Ng Chen Heng, a Singaporean, is charged with killing Lim Suan Lian in Block 125 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 6 between November 27 and 29.
The apartment had been locked by the police for investigation, according to a yellow slip of paper that was resting on a window grille when CNA got on the scene at 1:05 p.m.
According to the neighbors, the suspect had been locked out of the residence several times and was frequently heard arguing with the victim.
When the arguments got too “serious,” a neighbor who wished to be identified as Madam Rahimah told CNA that she had contacted the police several times.
